It all begins with Ellie Laufer, a University of Oregon graduate who majored in Biochemistry. Laufer conducted research throughout her time at Oregon being a lab-assistant at the Phillips Lab where she focused on epistatic contributions to ivermectin resistance in C.elegans. I created this video of Laufer for a class project in J211: Gateway to Media. I chose to focus on Laufer due to her unwavering commitment to bettering this world. Her contributions to science are admirable, and it was a pleasure to get a glimpse into her role.
